Day 36

5 lbs. today!!!!  OMG - I told my trainer Joe last Monday that I was going to envision a 5 lb weightloss this last week and I stepped on the scale this morning and weighed in at 282.1!!!  WooHoo!!!  I did it!  So you know I'm envisioning 277 on that scale for next Monday.  My body won't let me down.  It knows what to do now.  I feel it!  This last week I started sweating like I've never sweat before.  I could just FEEL the weight coming off.  I'm so excited.  This was such a big breakthrough for me.  I don't train until 3:30 this afternoon.  Jeremy is off to Canada and it's Spring Break so I'm going to have a weird schedule this week.  I'll update my blog after my workout.


Training with Joe

  • I did cardio before I worked out with Joe today which was 20 mins cybex
  • 15 mins stairmaster
  • So with Joe today we did a rotation of 3 things 10 sets x 10
  • #1 - 10 Dead Lifts with a 20 lb ball
  • # 2 - 10 push ups
  • # 3 - 10 assisted Lunges switch sides each rotation
  • 12 mins stairmaster

Day 35

Today is day 2 of recovery. I decided to take two days off this week. My body has been going non stop for over 30 days now and I really feel like it just needs a break and needs time to heal all the muscles. It feels good to just relax and not do anything!

Day 33

All I can say is what a day.  I didn't get much sleep last night.  4 hours and I woke up every 20 mins in those 4 hours so needless to say I was exhausted when I got up.  I had a few issues this morning with trying to help my mom find something and so I didn't make it to team weightloss this morning.  I did get to the gym at 7 and was able to get 30 mins of cardio in before I met with Joe.


Training with Joe

  • I'm just going to put all my cardio here today.  We JUST did cardio.  Joe knew I didn't sleep last night and so he didn't want to push me with lifting today.
  • 30 mins cybex
  • 20 mins bike
  • 15 mins arm bike
  • 25 mins treadmill
Of course I spent time in the steam room today.  I am so amazed these last few days when I work out all my clothes are wet from sweating.  That's never happened to me before and I love it!

My butt is hurting so bad right now.  I've been doing that cybex everyday this week and all I can say is OW!!! 

I feel great about everything that is happening to me right now.  I am loving my life and living in the moment.  Thank you for this opportunity!

Day 32

I'm having a great day today.  I of course went to workout this morning and then I did a little shopping and found Emily an outfit for the whitewater rafting trip.  Stopped off at Sam's Club for some essentials and then went and bought Jeremy Chipotle and dropped it off at his work.  Came home, put a pork roast in the oven, did the dishes and started the laundry.  Now I'm trying to finish my blog, do my video blog and then get stuff ready for tomorrow.


One thing I noticed today with my workout is that I am sweating SO MUCH MORE than I ever have before.  I felt it rolling down my back the entire workout and I even commented to Joe that it feels so nasty having sweat roll down your butt.  So I finish my workout and go to undress so I can go in my sanctuary (steam room) and let me tell you, my BUTT in my pants was soaked through!!!  REALLY!!!  I was laughing to myself because it looked like I pee'd in my pants.  Seriously, hilarious!


I will be posting pictures of myself tomorrow.  I told Joe that I needed to do a little photo session in the am.


Workout

  • 40 mins Cybex Arc Trainer - interval training
  • 30 mins Stairmaster - level 34
Training with Joe

  • 1/4 mile treadmill (4 sets) alternating with -
  • Stability Ball Rotations - 30x - 4 sets - for this exercise I had my shoulders on the SB (legs & abs holding up my weight)  and my arms straight over my chest, hands touching each other and then you just move from side to side.  Hello Abs!  Glad to see you're still alive!
  • Shoulder Presses - 3 sets of 20 each side - 5 lbs
  • Total Abdominal Machine - 65 lbs - full crunch alternating with a half crunch - 5 sets of 20

Day 31

It's only 10:35 and I feel like I've gone through a whole day already.  I woke up at 4:45am and got ready and went in to workout.  Intense again!  Love that!  Then I came home and picked up the kids and took them to school this morning because Grace wanted to bring her frogs in for show and tell.  So then I stayed and helped out in the class for the last few hours.  I LOVE having the opportunity to help out in her classroom.  It's so much fun to see what goes on day to day.


Team Weightloss

  • 30 mins treadmill - interval training

Day 30


OMG - It's been a month!  I can't believe it.  I feel SO GOOD about everything that I am doing and accomplishing!  It's such a beautiful spring day out today.  I took Luffy for a mile long walk when I got home from working out today.  I LOVE it!!  My windows are open, my landscaper is coming to give me a quote on a backyard patio, I am just loving life right now.


Training with Joe

  • Today we did a rotation thing again.  This time it was smaller reps, but higher weight.
  • Romanin Dead Lifts - 95lbs. - Yes, I said 95 lbs. 5 SLOW reps alternating with:
  • Bench Press Dumb Bells - 25lbs and Yes I did say 25lbs. PHEW!  5 SLOW  - So we did this rotation 5x  and then went onto the next rotation
  • Assisted Lunges - 5 x  each side rotating with
  • Barbell Overhead Presses - 5x - 20 lbs - SLOW - We did this rotation 5x
  • Yellow Cable Rotator Cuff Exercises, X's, 90 degrees & out, 90 degree & up - 25x each
Cardio

  • 35 mins Cybex Arc Trainer - I started out for the 1st 5 mins at 5 incline and 30 resistance.  Then every 4 minutes I would raise the incline to 10 and resistance to 80 and lean over to work the butt for 2 mins.  After that I trained at 45 resistance and kept rotating the 10-80 every 4 mins.
  • 10 mins - stairmaster - 21 floors - 34 steps per floor
  • 5 mins - Wave machine - I didn't like this machine so I won't do it again.
  • 10 mins bike - 2.3 miles Level 11

Day 29

I lost 3 lbs.!  So a total of 13 lbs. so far.  I had a great workout on this day.  Always when I have team weightloss I feel incredible about my cardio.


Team Weightloss

  • 30 mins treadmill - alternate incline training
  • 10 mins stairmaster - 20 floors - 34 steps a floor
  • 20 mins cybex arc trainer - This is my cardio challenge for the week.  I want to do 60 mins straight on this by Friday. - Minimum on this was incline 5 - level 30
Training with Joe

  • 1/2 mile on the treadmill - to cool down
  • So today we did a rotation of 3 things 5 x's
  • Stability Ball sit ups x 25 reps
  • Stability Ball squats.  So for this all I did was raise the SB straight over my head and then come down and squat and touch the ball to the ground and then do it again - x 25 reps
  • 1/2 mile on the treadmill

So I'm playing catch up and am writing 3 blogs today.  On Sunday I just did the elliptical for 30 mins and then went on a mile walk.  Not everything I wanted to do, but it sufficed.

Day 27

Recovery Day, Hip Hip Hooray!!!  Let me tell you, I needed it and I have done NOTHING today.  Well, actually I had to take Grace to a buy some presents and then dropped her off at a birthday party.  Other than that, I vacuumed and haven't done anything else.  I am resting.  I woke up this morning and couldn't move.  Seriously!  It was pure joy!

Day 26

TGIF!!! So I DID IT!!! I made my goal of 60 minutes STRAIGHT on the stairmaster. In fact I made it for 65 minutes - 137 floors - 34 steps a floor - 4658 steps. WOO HOO for me!!! That was probably the hardest physical thing I have EVER done. It was exhausting. I didn't have a very good night of sleep and got up at 4:50am to get to the gym on time and let me tell you, after 10 minutes on, I wanted to quit. I really did. I told myself oh, you can just do it tomorrow. But then I remember I committed on this blog to doing 60 minutes today, so I did just that. I stayed on those extra 5 minutes because I wanted Joe to see the floor for himself. He did and was amazed. I am physically exhausted right now though. I also did an hour of training after that. I am one tired girl and it's only 12:23 right now. So after I finish writing this I need to go and get gas in my car and then go and volunteer at the school and then come home and take a much needed nap. I also walked Luffy when I came home for a mile.


Training with Joe

  • So today, after I got off the stairmaster Joe said let's get on the treadmill and just walk for 10 minutes to cool off.  My face was SO RED when I was done on the stairmaster.  So I did 1/2 a mile on the treadmill and then Joe said he was planning on doing a cardio day.  I thought REALLY!!!  But I didn't complain, I just did what he told me to do.:)
  • Standing Curl into a press up - 8lbs - x20
